There is a lot to see in our surrounding area! In the following, we have summarised a few excursions which we recommend that you embark upon.
Castles and lakes
Lake Starnberg and Ammersee are located in the immediate area.
Information about places of interest will be readily available around the lakes. In most cases, recommendations for hiking tours and other places of interest will be available in the respective areas.
Kloster Andechs - visible from afar on the Holy Mountain over the Eastern Bank of Ammersee at the heart of the five-lake area, has been a popular destination for pilgrims for half a millenium.

Pastime for adults and children alike
You are guaranteed to have splashing fun at alpamare in Bad Tölz and at trimini directly on the Kochelsee.
If you have always aspired for higher grounds, you could take the Herzogstandbahn on the Walchensee or the Zugspitzbahn to effortlessly climb the highest mountain in Germany.
If it is action you want, why not visit Blombergbahn leisure centre near Bad Tölz: In summer you can take the longest toboggan run in Germany, go paragliding or hang-gliding. In winter, it is a skiing paradise.
Are you looking for something slightly more relaxing? Enjoy the magnificent landscape on a cruise or boat. You can embark upon sight-seeing trips or rent a boat on the lakes.
Pure nature
In this area of Bavaria, you will truly find pure nature. If you embark on your private hiking trip on one of the numerous hiking trails to explore the endless landscape or mountains, you will soon forget your stressful daily routine and feel much closer to your destination on earth.
If you feel like a change in pure nature you should definitely visit "Leutascher Geisterklamm". The ghost trail through the gorge, which is three kilometers long, i.a. runs below an adventurous 800 meter long footbridge. Allow yourself to be enchanted by gigantic impressions and a 23 meter high waterfall. In passing you will learn something about long-forgotten ghosts, goblins and dwarfs ...
You could also hike through the 15,000 year old moor landscape between the Loisach river and the Kochelsee. Meadows and marshlands have been turned into a natural habitat for many plants and types of animals threatened by extinction. More than 200 types of birds come to this moorland for a visit or to breed.
